Clickworker Review Summary

Product Name:  Clickworker

Website: clickworker.com

Price: FREE

Recommended: NO

Clickworker is a website that provides people with opportunities to make money by completing micro-tasks. It doesn’t charge you to open an account or work through this platform. However, the payouts are small, jobs are not always available, and users reported poor experience. For these and other reasons, Clickworker may not be worth your time. Though you can make some money via Clickworker, the small payout doesn’t compensate your time the way working for yourself does. Nevertheless, if you don’t mind earning several cents per hour, Clickworker is worth a try.

Now, in my Clickworker review, I’m going to reveal everything you need to know regarding this company, as well as my honest opinion on whether it’s worth your effort and time.

So, let’s dive in.

What Is Clickworker

Clickworker is an online platform in which you can earn money by doing micro jobs as an independent contractor.

It was founded in 2005 by Alexander Linden and is based in Essen, Nordrhein-Westfalen, Germany.

Client’s projects are broken down into smaller tasks called micro jobs, which are completed by many people.

The website allows you to work on your computer whenever and from wherever you want.

As a freelancer, you work when jobs are accessible and earn money for each task you complete.

The jobs pay differently depending on the time required to complete as well as the complexity of the task.

Clickworker resembles other widely known sites such as ClickSense and CrowdFlower; only that it covers more countries and pays more.

The site offers numerous job opportunities including product descriptions, data tagging, data categorization, editing, translation, text creation, among others.

I will get into details below as I show you how much you can earn with Clickworker.

How Clickworker Works

To become a member of Clickworker, it’s free and straight forward to register.

You only require to fill in the registration form with your name, email and preferred password.

Then, complete your profile with skills, languages, hobbies, general questions, and can also provide your work sample.

Clickworker encourages you to complete an assessment to qualify for more jobs.

Unluckily, you need to keep checking these assessments since they are not always available.

You will find two types of assessments based on your profile, skills, location, language, and availability.

These are the UHRS I – includes basic English language questions, and the UHRS II – includes the creation of a live.com ID.

According to their FAQ, the assessments are intended to qualify you for UHRS, a site that also offers micro jobs, which partnered with Clickworker.

This increases opportunities for you to work.

If you qualify for UHRS and complete jobs, your payment will be made through your Clickworker’s account.

How Much Will You Get Paid

The different jobs pay differently depending on their complexity, required skills & knowledge, amount of necessary research, and the time needed to complete them.

According to the website, you can earn over $10 per hour, and the average payment is $9 per hour.

This claim is a bit unrealistic since most people don’t get the chance to do high-paying jobs.

This is because of the scarcity of the jobs, which mainly depend on your country, speed, and accuracy.

Most of the jobs will pay several cents per task, and you can earn less than $2 per hour.

What Types Of Jobs Does Clickworker Offer?

Text Creation

This is likely the highest-paying task inside Clickworker.

You may be required to write texts such as Glossaries, Travelling Destinations, Search Optimized Texts, Company Profiles, Translation Texts, among others.

To qualify for these jobs, you must have performed well on the assessments and match the skills, language, knowledge, and interests required.

The text usually needs you to write 250-300 words including the keyword.

Then, submit your content to be proofread by another Clickworker, after which you will get paid.

You can expect to earn $3 or less per article.

If you are good and fast in writing and can be able to write three articles per hour, then you might be able to earn a decent hourly wage.

However, it’s not easy to write 750-1000 words in an hour since you need to do proper research first and the topics may be different.

After completing several assessments, you will qualify to proofread other people’s work and earn about $0.50 for each 250-word text.

Video and Image Tagging

Tagging includes allocating a specific and relevant word or phrase to the text, image or video provided.

You’ll be provided with a video or picture and told to decide on the most relevant tag that suits it.

This can earn you some cents per tag since the task is easy and quick.

Products’ Categorization

This is where you classify different products into their appropriate tags or categories.

It requires you to be used to the many products and terms involved in order to avoid mistakes, be accurate and fast in completing the tasks.

This will increase your chances of getting more jobs.

You can expect to earn around 0.01 €, and the tasks are not always available.

Product Data Digitalization

In this job, you’ll be extracting products’ information from various files including illustrations, Excel, catalogs, and PDFs.

You’ll be copying the info to be posted on the client’s online shop platform.

Online Surveys

You can earn additional cash by completing surveys.

Availability of surveys depends on whether you match the target group requirements and you can expect to earn below $1 for 15-20 min surveys.

Mobile Crowdsourcing

This is where you complete various outdoor tasks using your phone.

They mostly look for information or images usable in online shops, yellow pages, and travel or cuisine sites.

You can be asked to take pictures of restaurants, menus, buildings, and tourist attractions, among others.

You can also earn by verifying different addresses and geographical coordinates. The payment is cents per task.

Cashing Out

When you reach the minimum threshold, you can choose to withdraw via bank account (requires $10) or PayPal (requires $5).

The payments could take about 7 days if you worked with Clickworker and up to 21 days if you worked through UHRS.

Are You Tired Of Scams?

Yeah, me too! I can show you a legit way to create your online business. Not get quick rich schemes, not a simple online job that will pay you cents, none of those things. I’m about to show you how to create an online business that you will own!!!

Who Is Clickworker Meant For (And Not For)

Clickworker is intended for anyone who wants to make an additional income by completing small tasks through the internet.

It doesn’t require any formal qualification, but you are encouraged to complete your profile and pass some assessments to qualify for more specific jobs.

The Pros

  • It’s accessible worldwide.
  • Pays through PayPal and bank account.
  • The withdrawal threshold is fairly low.
  • Easy and free to join.
  • The jobs are short and simple to complete.
  • It gives you time freedom since you can work at your own time.

The Cons

  • Most of the times, the payment is less than the minimum wage, meaning that the real earning potential is very low.
  • The earning possibility claimed is unrealistic ($10+).
  • The scarcity of jobs depending on your location, skills, and profile.
  • Jobs are mostly repetitive.

Alexander Linden founded Clickworker in 2005. Currently, a team that’s headed by Christian Rozsenich runs this company.

This guy had been the head of software development for many years and has experience in media, telecommunications, and internet start-up consultancy.

He holds an MBA degree from the London Business School.

Clickworker Complaints

1. The scarcity of jobs

Seemingly, the number of workers on Clickworker exceeds the available tasks.

Additionally, you will need to have specific skills and knowledge to qualify for jobs.

Then, if you are eligible and do the work, it might take them several days or weeks to approve or reject it.

This means that the payment is very uncertain and untimely.

Therefore, Clickworker can’t help you quit your day job.

The best thing would be having multiple income streams to offset this unknown.

And if you are serious about making money online while working for yourself rather than working for others, consider checking my #1 work-at-home recommendation at the end of this review.

2. Delays in approving tasks

Some clients take days and even weeks to approve tasks, meaning that your weekly payday depends on them.

Some workers complained that they had to wait for days, only for the client to ask for revision or even reject the task without any explanation.

3. Low income potential

Clickworker resembles other GPT sites in that it has low-income potential.

This is because most of the tasks pay in cents. Let’s do some simple math here. You earn an average of $0.015 per product categorization or tagging, which could take around 2 minutes each.

So, you can complete about 30 tasks per hour and earn about $0.45 in that one hour. Are you ready to work at such a low hourly wage?

Various sites that have very slow earning process and low-income potential include:

•    InboxPays

•    Opinion Outpost

•    Survey Junkie

4. No BBB rating

At the time of this writing, the Better Business Bureau does not accredit Clickworker.

This doesn’t make it a scam, but it might be a deal breaker to some people.

Is Clickworker A Scam?

While doing my research, I found mixed opinions from different users of Clickworker.

Some said that they earned $6 per task while others said that they earned several cents per job.

Therefore, is Clickworker a scam?

According to this review, Clickworker is not a scam though it has a very low earning potential.

So, your time will not be compensated as it is supposed.

Or would you be comfortable to earn less than a dollar per hour?

It won’t be easy to earn anything at the beginning.

You’ll need to increase your skill-set and complete assessments to qualify for many jobs and earn more with Clickworker.

Given that you’ll earn a few dollars or less per hour, the payout will still be low even if you get plenty of jobs.

With that in mind, it’s always good to diversify your income streams.

You can’t depend on Clickworker only as your source of income, but you can earn something extra.

Therefore, I can’t recommend this platform to you if you’re looking for a way to earn good income online.

How I Make Passive Income Online

Let’s face it: scams are really bad!

They only benefit the owners while diminishing your account balance.

However, I was fortunate enough to find a platform that helped me to achieve my dreams of making passive income online.

In less than a year, I have managed to be generating a 4-figure income through the help of this platform.

I’m willing to assist you in achieving the same if you’re ready.

If you’ve been searching for ways to make money online, you’ve probably realized that most sites and programs are scams.

They tend to promise such a huge income in less time and no hard work.

These get-rich-quick schemes are only meant to enrich the owners while leaving you poorer.

Others are legit but have very low earning potential.

They can hardly make you any good money.

That’s why I don’t recommend you to join them.

If you would like to start making good money online, I recommend you to join this platform.

You’ll get A-Z training on how online business works and get all the necessary tools to trigger your success.

Additionally, you’ll get access to a large community of active members (like me) who are very ready to assist you with any problem you may have.

The customer service team is also very active and supportive.

About the payment, it’s less than a dollar per day to create and run your own online business.

It’s very simple, and you can join for free, but you’ll have to pay to gain full access to the platform.

You’ll also need to be ready and willing to work as you learn for you to make a good living.

But I can promise you that it’s worth the time, work and investment.

Would you be interested in joining this platform?
